Web Application Engineer
In this role, you will design and implement all
user-facing aspects of the AdNectar Social Distribution Platform.
You’ll also be in charge of expanding the AdNectar experience to
different online and mobile environments.
You’ll work closely with other engineers and designers as well as our
publishers to deliver a complete user experience, creating a swarming trail
of happily engaged users.
Requirements:
-
3+ years of building successful web applications at a well-known company
-
Expert in Javascript, including OOP and cross-domain techniques
-
Experience with Javascript frameworks, e.g. Prototype, JQuery, or YUI
-
Solid grip on cross-browser HTML/CSS
- Affinity for agile development and tight team
effort
- Willingness to learn new tools and platforms
quickly and frequently
-
Pluses:
-
experience building Facebook and/or OpenSocial and/or iPhone apps
-
familiarity with Flash/AS3
-
heavy user of social networks and virtual gifts
-
experience building cross-domain plug-ins
-
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent from a top university

Vice President of
Business Development
AdNectar seeks to add a key business development
professional with experience defining a new form of online advertising.
The ideal candidate has experience selling non-standard ad units and
has familiarity with social networking sites.
As part of a small, early-stage team, the position requires a mix of
sales expertise, industry contacts and product development skills.
This person will share in the opportunity to build an already
fast-growing company.
Responsibilities:
-
Identify, develop and manage successful
relationships with early-adopter clients, including large brand advertisers
-
Quickly understand and communicate client
needs to the product development team to improve product offering

Assist in formulation of company-wide
strategy with executive team
-
Work with AdNectar’s support team to update
sales presentations and create proposals
Requirements:

Track record of defining, developing,
structuring and closing sales for a new online advertising product

Experience with selling “non-standard” online
ad units

Sophisticated and wide ranging portfolio of
high level business contacts for rapid development of deals

Deep knowledge and understanding of the
advertising industry and the technology used to track effectiveness of ad
spending

Proven track record of successfully
developing strategic relationships

Willingness to take-on increased
responsibility as needed in start-up environment

A self-starter with the ability to
self-manage to company goals

MBA and/or technical educational background
preferred
